In a time when our attention span is becoming increasingly shorter, short stories are more popular than ever. They offer a welcome respite from our fast-paced lives, inviting us to slow down and savour the moment. They remind us that even the most mundane aspects of life can hold great significance, that there is beauty and meaning to be found in even the smallest of moments.
As in a literary sense, the tracks featured within ‘Short Stories’ each hold a unique tone evoking differing and evolving emotions throughout each individual piece and the EP as a whole. Ambient synthesised elements combined with more organic instrumentation and natural soundscapes attempt to provide the listener with a brief but intricate space where a range of narratives can be found.
